Big Give Christmas Challenge | 1 to 8 December 2026Double your gift. Double the hope.
For one week only, every pound you give to Kennedy Street is doubled.
A £25 gift becomes £50. Every winning bid at our Heartful Art auction is doubled too. Help us keep the Hub doors open this Christmas.
Recovery is possible. It needs a place to happen.
Every weekday, someone walks into the Kennedy Street Hub for the first time. They might be nervous. They might be exhausted. They are met with a cuppa, a chat and someone who has been where they are.
That welcome is free. It always has been. It only exists because people like you choose to fund it.
We are a small, independent charity, and December can be one of the loneliest and hardest months for people in early recovery. Big Give week is one of the most important weeks of our year, because for seven days your gift can do twice as much.
800+ people supported in recovery since 2020
237 individuals supported since June 2025
5,788 visits to our services since June 2025
Figures as of July 2026.
Our goal£25,000 in seven days
This is how we keep the Hub open, grow our workshops, offer more one-to-one support and reach more people through outreach.
No single big funder is behind us. We rely on people who believe recovery is possible. If this goal feels big, that is because it is. It is also within reach, one gift at a time.

“I really can't express the gratitude I have for this hub, which I choose to call the hub of love. Whenever I feel down, I know I can come here and get hub love everyday. I can't imagine it not being here because this is what kept me sober. This is what helped me where others failed.”
